     Hi again Joel,
    I reviewed the attachment and I believe this is working as designed and changing data selection from web client will only affect the data selection in the corresponding set of serialized objects. I don't think these changes are actually saved to the versions table. Can anybody else confirm this?

    Either way consider adding hyper exit security to prevent users from taking the "Data Selection" and perhaps "Processing Options" row exit in the Batch Versions application (P98305 and P98305W).
