System does not stop you from adding non-warranty(extended warranty,service e.t.c) to the bom .
But you get error when you complete configuration because the serive item line returned from cz has the below data missing
1) link(reference) to servicable oe line
2) dates(duration,period e.t.c) for the service
There is no easy way to get around this.You may have to do customiztion to populate these fields when the control returns from cz to host(OM,QUOTING).
