     Hi Carlos,


    You have created a document, but I think you meant to start a discussion thread?  I can't seem to move this document to the right community (as I could with a discussion), which would be Oracle Solaris Networking where we handle the network name service clients like NIS.

    Could you please repost your query to the Networking Community?
