Hello -
I think you posted your question in the wrong section. Next time, you may rather use the section "Discussion" if you want to post a question. Now coming back to your question: Currently we do not support OSP in OPM and this is one of the projects in consideration on priority for our future release,
However, I'd like to point you to Note 728669.1: How To Handle Outside Processing (OSP) In OPM ?
You will find some information about how the OSP process can be mapped to different manufacturing scenarios in OPM .
Hope this helps.

1. Set up a OSP resource such as "OSP Drilling" and add a standard cost to it such as $0.50/lb.
2. Set up a OSP resource such as "OSP Drilling" but do not cost it. Instead, charge the OSP cost to the item using gl cost allocation.

We add a step on the routing. We have use two different methods for costing it.
1. Set up a OSP resource such as "OSP Drilling" and add a standard cost to it such as $0.50/lb.
2. Set up a OSP resource such as "OSP Drilling" but do not cost it. Instead, charge the OSP cost to the item using gl cost allocation.
Hi Jeff,
So you use a mixture of standard and actual cost in your system? Why is there a need for two methods?
