    Probably not as User Defined Metrics behave the same in 12c as in 11g. And UDM's are going the way of the dinosaur in EM12c. If you have EM12c, you will want to be switching to Metric Extensions instead. ME's will replace UDM's in some future version of EM. Here is a link to the documentation on ME's.
