Face to face (in person)
In my opinion, Face to Face is and will always be best. But since we cannot always do that, the rest of the methods are needed . Order is based on issue and importance. Generally , video, followed by call followed by live chat followed by email. But people prefer text now so order will be different. I prefer face to face communication.

Just wondering if this is a question about general communication preference or preference when working with Oracle Support.

@Milestogo-Oracle, thank you for the input! I agree, my first choice is always face to face to communication, if possible. A huge facet involved in communication is our nonverbal communication (physical reaction, facial expressions, etc.). We lose so much of that when we substitute communication with technology. But, there is a huge convenience factor .

Hi @Deepak Karthikeyan -Oracle,
Great question! This specific poll was focused on general communication. It is open to interpretation (it could be focused on your preferred communication method in the workplace, with Oracle support, or in your everyday life).
Thank you!

Similar to the 'Is this in general, or for MOS?', it depends on what is being communicated, and with whom. As a generic answer, email - easy to do, you can compose and send at your convenience, it provides a record that helps both with cya and with potential follow-ons like creating a task list. Something needing more nuance and explanation? Face-to-face, or as close as possible such as video or phone. Just a quick data point, status update, clarification, etc? Chat or equivalent.

Thanks for sharing your input, @2794500! Although the context of the situation certainly does weigh in to which method you would choose, it is nice to hear what people generally prefer .

Live Chat with screenshare would be good, as it will make everything clear and get the early solutions.
