    This might depend on the distance

    Large vacations distances  - Plane

    Locally -  walk, bicycle, public transportation

    I've never been on a train or helicopter

    To commute to office car is preferred but to reach short distance my preference is to walk.

    Air freight is a critical mode of transport. It serves markets and supply chains that demand speed. One of greatest examples goes back to 19.

    Depends on distance, will use Car, or Train or Plane. Locally Bicycle is best, Electric scooter also very good to use locally.

    I prefer to take an airplane as long as it is not one of the busiest travel days of the year or really bad weather.  In those cases, I will do anything to not have to sit in an airport for endless hours.

    I voted train, but I'd be more than happy to take the bus for most local trips in London. It's cheaper - we have a hopper fare, you can start as many trips as you like for ~$2 within 70 minutes of the first - picks up and drops off closer to the places I want to get to, and it's probably more fuel-efficient, too. When I travel, the trains are rarely close to full; it's a little easier to run more or fewer buses at particular times to deal with peaks.
