Working from home
Preferably home and some times at office so that we can have interaction with colleagues as well.

I like the general sociability of group cubes but hate that they are usually set up so any visitor approaches from behind. It is startling if you are concentrating and a potential problem if you are working with sensitive data. So my vote is for a setup where you are with your team but somehow all also face the entry to the cube area. If anyone can describe a good setup like this, please do ! I will share it with our office here.

Unlike the others I'll hold myself accountable. I'd say anywhere sick people aren't. Preferably at home.

Preferably 2-3 days from home and some times at office. Interaction with colleagues is needed.

Working from home
I prefer to work from home. Although, if I work from home, I work many more hours. it's not really healthy. Our upper management does not like us to work from home. They prefer we waste 2 hours getting dressed and drive to work.
I am shocked Working in an office in an open space (no walls) (19%). I worked in an office with office concept so they could save money on cubes. The distraction was not productive. Listening to everyone chewing or an little noise they made. It was annoying to say the least. The office was a huge room and 8 people were mushed together in 2 -> 4 desks pods facing each other. Dumbest thing every. Talk about management not caring about their employee's. If the room had been small and space was at a premium, that would have been one thing, but the room was huge and empty with everyone smashed together smelling each others farts.

Always from home and from time to time from the office to interact with people.

I used to be in a cube with walls (now I am in a more open collaborative space setup), and I hated having my back to the opening of the cube. So I just simply asked our facilities folks to help rotate my entire desk so that it was against a different wall of the cube. I was then facing towards the opening. Not sure if that is possible for all, I guess it depends on how big the walls are in your cube. But it significantly improved my experience!

Very relevant in today's work world too with all the sicknesses spreading around!

I am working in the office and would like to have a cube (with walls) as I had before moving to another floor. In general I would prefer to work from home. A mix between home and office to have some interaction in person would be also good.

I'm glad you found a solution! Our desks are actually desktops mounted to the cube walls themselves, so there's no way for me to turn mine to face the opening.

It must be something primal in us... I, too, hate it when people can sneak up behind me.
I was looking at cubicle designs online and found this one, which I kind of like. I would SO want to put my monitor towards the front of the desk (red arrow) rather than the corner, so I can still people-watch.

I like it! I would put my monitor on that corner, too. Visitors can sit more toward the rounded end of the table. Plus, with the monitor where we like it, you can easily turn the monitor to share the screen with the guest if you need to look at something on line together.

Prior to Oracle, I was permanent WFH (no option of office) for many years.

I do well in a few different types of environments. I can adapt. In my last job, we were given a lot of freedom to make decisions on our own, and I enjoyed that. But I’ve also worked in stricter environments and performed well and had no issues.

We have been working at client location for years and we are provided with Sit Stand Adjustable Desks.
The provided ergonomic desks are very comfortable but as the desks are very big in length, they are shareable and also in open flexi environment but not as dedicated desks in cubicles.

Working in an office in a cube (with walls)
Prefer a combination of working from office (cubical or open plan) and sometimes working from home or in an alternative setting.

To work in a nature place outside any home or office space like under a tree with only wind and birds sound or in a beach with only waves sound. Work Calmly and Peacefully!...

Half of my time in the office for productivity and colleagues interactions; and the other half at home because sweat pants and no commute are the best work days)

The organization I work for gains 5 hours of work from me every week since I'm not commuting. The only bad part is if feels like I never leave work

I hear you! It is hard to end the work day when you are at home. The chime of incoming messages or someone asking if you can do just one more thing draws you back.
Maybe that could be another poll of its own -- how hard is it to disconnect at the end of the work day when you are working from home?
