Inbound Shipment ETA not updating related PO Records

Hi Community,

I am testing the inbound shipment.  If I put a future date on the expected delivery date, how come the date doesn't carry over to the sales order?  It still uses the PO eta line.
Same behavior without using the inbound shipment.   Does the ETA not carry over from the Inbound Shipment to the Sales Order?
