Summarize Results in Workflow Email

Hello!

Has anyone accomplished summarizing results in a workflow email? I'm running a workflow against a saved search trigger and need it to list fields from multiple transactions  into one email. Basically, I want it to work like the Saved Search > Summarize Results in email feature.

The reason I want to use a workflow is because it supports email templates. Otherwise, if a Saved Search can use an email template - that will also work.
