Custom Records and Custom Sublists

Hello All,
I have created  a custom Record "Proporsal {id: customrecord_cust_proposal" . The record contains several sublists to other records that are children of the proposal.
One record is "Proposal Items, ID: customrecord_tc_prop_items)

I am able to print the information contained on the Proposal record using an advanced PDF template.
I am unable to access the sublist/children records.

Is it possible to access the child records within the advanced PDF template?
