Column Width - Other Formatting

Hello,

Does anyone know how to save changes to the column width of a report? 

We can resize the columns while viewing the report, but aren't able to save these changes.

Also, are we able to control which numbers/text appear bold?  Any highlighting available?  Other than rearranging the order of the columns and title content, are there any (appearance) formatting options at all?

If not, a brief explaination why NetSuite doesn't support these functions would be really appreciated.  (because I will be asked!)
