Daily Demand
I've read other threads going back to 2009/2010... which didn't seem to get resolved, so I'm rather hoping that in the last 2 or 3 years this may have been picked up by Netsuite...?
I cannot for the life of me work out how NS works out the daily demand (and subsequently Preferred stock levels).
Example:
Item1
Available = 0
Back order = 19
On Order = 60
re-order point = 135
Preferred Stock level = 841
NS is suggesting that we order 800 of this item with a value $140,000!
This is a new item launched this year, we sold initially 19 and we are still waiting for the initial order to come in from the factory. So there are NO invoiced goods yet.
