Action Required: Internal Proxy to be Shut Down on August 27, 2019
This notice is intended for customers with SuiteTalk SOAP web services requests or RESTlet requests that are not being sent to the correct data center. Sending requests to the wrong data center causes the requests to be internally redirected or re-routed, also called being proxied. Being proxied means that it takes extra time for your requests to complete. The final shutdown of this proxy is on August 27, 2019.
What is Changing?
Important: To ensure you are ready for the shutdown of the internal proxy on August 27, 2019, we have scheduled several test windows. On Thursday, July 18, 2019, we will shut down this internal proxy twice, two test windows each lasting for four (4) hours. This is the proxy that is redirecting your SuiteTalk SOAP web services and RESTlet requests. If you do not modify your SuiteTalk SOAP web services and RESTlet requests before we shut down the proxy, these requests will fail during the test windows.
