Antivirus Scanning on File Cabinet Files
The File Cabinet Antivirus feature with General Availability from 2019.2 Release ensures the security of your files. Files are scanned when you upload them to the NetSuite File Cabinet, the ones determined to be malicious are rejected and not uploaded to the File Cabinet. The scanning covers all files uploaded via User Interface, SuiteScript, Web Services, Bundles and CRM Messages.
Note: The File Cabinet Antivirus feature scans only new files. Any files uploaded prior to the feature being enabled are not scanned, unless they are modified afterwards.Based on the upload channels mentioned above, files that you receive attached to an email communication through NetSuite are also scanned for viruses. These are files that can be attached to an email communication associated with a case record, for example. If a file that is received as an attachment is determined to be malicious, it is automatically blocked.
