NSPOS - Windows 7 End of Life

This notice is intended for customers using NetSuite Point of Sale (NSPOS). Microsoft® has announced end of life (EOL) for Windows 7. Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for the operating system or offer extended support. EOL will occur on January 14, 2020.

What Windows 7 EOL Means to You

Security updates for Windows 7 will stop before January 14, 2020. To continue receiving security updates, you must complete the required actions before this date. It is vital to ensure every register is compliant with industry standards and is not at risk from missed security updates.

Recommended Actions

We strongly recommend that you verify the operating system installed on every register running NSPOS. If a register is using Windows 7 or earlier, you should upgrade it to Microsoft Windows 10.
