Advanced Inventory Management with seasonal demand calculation

When using Advanced Inventory Management with seasonal demand calculation, what period exatly is analysed - the period of months before one year ago or the period after one year ago? For example today is 10.11.2019 and I have chosen a seasonal analysis interval of 3 months. What months are used when calcluating - 10.08.2018 to 10.11.2018 or 10.11.2018 to 10.02.2019? Also if a seasonal demand calculation is used, does that mean the lead time is calculated for that period as well or it is calculated for the last 3 POs no matter of how demand is calculated?
