Service Items as Special Order Items?

edited Feb 28, 2020 10:53AM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

Hello Community,

we are a consulting enterprise, which is planning on using Projects for our business.

We set up a Service Item which we called Professional Services in order to bill our customers for the times our consultants worked at the project.

From time to time we also purchase Freelancers to work at our projects and would now need to create a Purchase Order of of the Sales Order.

However, the Service Item is never a Special Order Item and therefore we would have to separately create the Purchase Order.

Is there a way to also make the Service Item a Special Order Item? Or would you recommend a different workaround?
