Setup different demand source in item record but the result of item demand plan is the same
Hi Gurus,
I am confused about the influence of demand source in item record to calculate item demand plan. Please explain to me!
In sandbox enviroment, I created 4 items:
| Item Name | Setup Demand Source |
| 02 Forecast and Orders | Forecast and Orders |
| 03 Forecast Consumption | Forecast Consumption |
| 04 Forecast from Demand Plan | Forecast from Demand Plan |
| 05 Entered and Planned Orders | Entered and Planned Orders |
Other setup information in item record are the same:
Default ATP Method = Cumulative ATP with Look Ahead
Replenishment method = Time Phased
Lead time = 0
Safety stock level = 0
Lot sizing method = Lot For Lot
Supply type = Purchase
For each item, create data to calculate item demand plan below:
