Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Demand Plan forecast
Forecast Sales in Demand Planning
We are using Opportunity records to forecast sales in demand planning/supply planning. We have a date on the opportunity, an expected close date, and an expected ship date by item on the opportunity record. When generating the supply plan it does not appear to use any of those dates for the supply plan to estimate when to order the goods. With dates of 7/21/20 for the created date, 9/10/20 for the expected close date, and 9/11/20 for the expected ship date it gave a supply plan order date of 9/1.
It appears that since the expected ship date is in September that it is suggesting to have the goods on hand by 9/1 with a 14 day lead time for delivery. Why would it not be close to 9/10?
