Saved Search results default fields, vs Advance PDF/HTML Form

Hello, these are two questions, but your comments for either one of them may help me understand them both, thanks:

  1. when we start new saved search, the Tab results will have a group of fields, already list in there. where and how can I mange this list?
  2. for one existing Advance PDF/HTML template, how can I trace back which saved search is supporting behind? the one I am looking at is "Standard Pick Ticket/Pick Report PDF/HTML Template", it got quite lots of no use data in it, but missing important one, so I try to manage its data source
