How can I change status of a completed Blanket purchase order?

After a Blanket Purchase Order has been processed entirely, it remains in status "Active". But it is no longer active. This makes it difficult to track the real Active Blanket Purchase Orders.

We had to add a manual checkbox to track this, but hope there is a more natural solution to this.

In this image you can see that the full quantity in the Blanket Purchase Order has been billed already. But status is "Active".
