How can I download into Excel from Netsuite when my company has just installed Microsoft Intune?

Intune is new Microsoft security setting. When this is installed and you try to download a search or report into Excel from Netsuite the file does not open. Previously you get the warning message then click "Yes" to open ok. This is because the file type adopted by Netsuite is .xls. This now unsupported by Microsoft and basically Intune says you are not on the guest list Mr/MRs/Miss.Xls so I'm not letting you open full stop!

Yes we can use the csv approach but this kills a lot of formatting that time has to be spent recreating.
