updating item receipts custom field via csv import

I exported some item receipts transactions including the internal ID with the goal of populating the value of a new custom field in the csv file and then using the csv import tool to update that field. I can't however, see a choice for importing/updating item receipts, and haven't found any help in SuiteAnswers or via Google. What am I missing? Thanks.
