Date Criteria for KPI ranges

I am trying to find a way to show a KPI comparisons on a monthly scale, but the comparison is a change of dollar amount per day. So, for example if today is 11/5/20, I want to show the change today, compared to the sum of dates 11/1/20-11/4/20.

I am also assuming that only KPIs can be represented as percentages.

If there is another solution to show this result, I am all ears.
