Are custom record saved searches supported in the N/search module?

Hello,

We have a custom record in our account called PM Homeowner ID and it's available as a saved search type. When creating a script with the N/search module is this saved search type supported? I've tried type: search.Type.PM_HOMEOWNER_ID, and I received a Missing a required argument: type error.
