UPC Barcode

I use barcode for inventory items. I scan items into sales orders with a hand held scanner plugged into the desktop. I use an ipad and bluetooth scanner to scan items in for receiving inventory.

Something has changed. Now neither will work. The handheld scanner will not work, the bluetooth scanner will not work and manually entering the upc code into a sales order will not work.

Has anybody got an idea on what was changed and how to fix it?
