Customer Saved Search with presence of a transaction

I am trying to create a saved search to do some clean up of customer duplicates....we have quite a few. In order to more easily determine which of the duplicates to keep, is there a way to get a result from a saved search that indicates the "existence" of a transaction(s) without having to see all the results for every transaction?
