How do I join in information from the related records tab on a saved search?

I have an invoice report where the main line is set to false so that I can see all of the items billed on each invoice. I also want to join in the Payment Type, Date and Amount from the Related Records tab. How do I do that? No matter how many fields I have tried, I cannot do it. Thank you!
