NSPOS – Windows 10 for MySQL & NSPOS 2020.1
This notice is to inform you of changes to NetSuite Point of Sale (NSPOS). Its purpose is to communicate the operating system (OS) requirement you’ll need to meet before upgrading your registers to NSPOS 2020.1.
We expect this upgrade to be available in July 2021.
What Is Changing?
Our previous NSPOS database application – Microsoft SQL Server Express – has a storage limit of 10 GB. To remove this limit, we are switching the NSPOS database application from Microsoft SQL Server Express to MySQL.
The NSPOS 2020.1 staging package includes the MySQL database installer. Installation is performed automatically during staging, so there’s no need to download and install a separate application.
