Using plural name of UOM in NetSuite PDF

Question

Hello NetSuite Gurus,

is there any way plural name or plural abbreviation to be used in the Advanced PDF.

I'm looping the invoice lines in the Advanced PDF like this:

<#list record.item as item>

Units: ${item.units}

Instead of the name of the units I want to use the plural name if quantity is greater than 1

Hi George,

Upon further investigation, there's no way yet we could source the name or plural name of a units type. By default, the standard Units dropdown field only  lists Abbreviation.

As a workaround, we could add all the plural name equivalent of the abbreviation when the quantity is greater than 1 on an if else condition. On the sample item from an Invoice record below, the plural name should be pieces.

Here's how I added the nested if else condition on the template source code. I only have 2 units to test with, however, you can add all the units available on your account.
