Auto Pay Invoices Once A Month

A customer would like us to charge any open invoices to his credit card on the 15th of every month. I thought maybe I could create a saved search and schedule a billing operation to run on the 15th. But it looks like you can only bill sales orders with that method. Does anyone know of a way we could automate this type of thing or would we have to do this manually?
