HOW TO IDENTIFY THE SOURCE OF AN ALERT EMAIL FROM NETSUITE 2021.1

edited Apr 16, 2021 11:39PM in Ask A Guru 6 comments

Hi all

Originally i used the below process to identify the source of alert emails from NetSuite.

However since the upgrade to 2021.1 X-MailingID is no longer present their is a X-NeTSuite but that does not appear to give any Search ID

Does anyone know how I can find out what triggered the email alert?

Old way:

HOW TO IDENTIFY THE SOURCE OF AN ALERT EMAIL FROM NETSUITE

1. 1. In Actual alert email

Open actual alert email.

Go to Email properties

In the header information you are looking for the following line:

X-MailingID

2. 2. EXAMPLE:

X-MailingID: scompid=xxxxx; action=create; recordtype=-30; recordid=2955349; logID=xxxxxxxxxxxx; search=5256; owner=188999; recipientemail=credit.control@domain.com
