Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Can I change / define the 'active' or 'default' field on a new Transaction Form?
When creating a new blank transaction form (typically Sales Order, Cash Sale or Quote), we would wait for NetSuite to process it's background tasks when building the form. Normally we tell users to wait for the date to appear in the date field (as this is typically the last field to be populated), and then they can start typing the Customer Name to search for (as the cursor would default to the Customer field).
It appears that a recent change now has the form defaulting the cursor to the Items sublist (to start typing in items to add to the transaction). I'm not entirely clear when this changed, I thought it might be related to 2021.1, but now users are telling me this changed before the recent Release update.
