Ending Support for Obsolete CBC Cipher Suites for Commerce
This is to notify you of the plans to end support for CBC cipher suites for NetSuite-hosted Commerce sites. Secure (https://) communication with NetSuite is subject to the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. The CBC cipher suites are no longer considered secure. You should be using higher-level cipher suites that are available in TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3.
What is Changing?
We are ending support for obsolete CBC cipher suites for secure communication with NetSuite accounts for all services. This means you may need to update outbound email servers, browsers, and integration clients accessing your NetSuite accounts. After July 15, 2021, if these servers, browsers, and clients are still using obsolete CBC ciphers, your users (including your website customers) will not be able to access your NetSuite accounts or your NetSuite-hosted Commerce sites.
