Action Required: Update Tax Engine Plug-in to NetSuite India SuiteTax Engine SS2

This notice is intended for customers who use the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp, (Bundle ID: 253246).

What is Changing?

A new NetSuite India SuiteTax Engine SS2 tax engine plug-in will be added to the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp after the release of version 3.01.0 on May 18, 2021.

Note: After the release, you must update the existing tax engine plug-in with NetSuite India SuiteTax Engine SS2 for tax calculation. The existing tax engine plug-in will not be supported for tax calculation after 2022.1. Therefore, you must update the tax engine plug-in before 2022.1.

Required Actions

You must enable the NetSuite India SuiteTax Engine SS2 plug-in implementation. In addition, you must update the tax engine plug-in in the subsidiary records with the new plug-in for tax calculation.
