NSPOS Support Ending for Worldpay (Vantiv) DSIClientX Application and Devices

This notice is intended for customers who are using NetSuite Point of Sale (NSPOS).

What Is Changing?

As a compliance measure, we are narrowing the scope of our Worldpay (Vantiv) payment-gateway integration. Worldpay (Vantiv) was previously known as Mercury Payment Systems (MPS).

Starting with NSPOS 2020.1, we will discontinue support for the Worldpay DSIClientX application. This legacy Worldpay application routes credit-card data through the NSPOS register application and does not support EMV transactions. Upgrades to 2020.1 will begin in August 2021.

We will continue to support the Worldpay dsiEMVUS application. That integration does not route sensitive data through NSPOS.

Recommended Actions

If you use WorldPay (Vantiv) as your payment gateway, you should ensure all registers use the dsiEMVUS application and one of these supported PIN pad models:
