Customer Search - Item Pricing - Unit of Measure Issues

edited Jul 1, 2021 2:51PM in Ask A Guru 14 comments

A Customer Saved Search appears to be the only way to extract a list of Items with Custom Pricing for a Customer.

There does not appear to be a sub-table link to the Items table from a Customer Saved Search, so you can only show the fields given in the Customer Saved Search:

Although the Custom Pricing for an Item with multiple Units of Measure will show the correct Sales Price (for the Sales Units) in the Customer screen

When you extract that pricing using a Saved Search, it appears to be shown as a price in base units.

I already know (and begrudgingly accept) that NetSuite's implementation of Units of Measure is fundamentally flawed (in many ways), and I have created custom fields (that I have to maintain separately to Units of Measure) to allow me to multiply or divide NetSuite data when Units of Measure fails to work correctly.

Howdy, Stranger!
