Reminder: Removal of Obsolete CBC Cipher Suites for NetSuite Access

This notification is to remind you of the removal of obsolete CBC cipher suites for secure communication with NetSuite production accounts, targeted for July 15, 2021. Secure communication with NetSuite is subject to the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. The CBC cipher suites are no longer considered secure. You should be using higher-level cipher suites that are available in TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3.

What is Changing?

You were previously notified that on July 15, 2021, support will end for the use of obsolete CBC cipher suites for secure communication with NetSuite production accounts. This removal of support will apply to all services (including the NetSuite UI, integrations, and inbound email). This change means you may need to update outbound email servers, browsers, and integration clients that connect to your NetSuite production account.

Regards,

@Robert Nedelkow-Oracle | NetSuite Support Community Administrator
