Set up Inventory Adjustment Class(main) as the first Inventory Adjustment Line Class

Is the Inventory Adjustment Adjustments sublist ID "inventory"?

Can I use the following code to get the first Inventory Adjustment line class? 

nlapiGetLineItemValue('inventory', 'class', 1)


In a workflow Before the record Submit action, can I set Class(main) value with the formula as above?
