Global Account Mapping - Not Being Applied

We have setup global account mapping for accounts used by our subsidiary. That subsidiary's book is mapped to a secondary book so we can roll up to centralizing accounting book in USD. However, the account mapping are not taking effect. We have this problem on our balance sheets in production and accounting has been exporting and manually fixing of financial statements for years. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
