Revenue Arrangement revaluing mid contract
So we have a random issue where some scheduled revenue adjusts mid contract. It only happens on foreign currency customers. Our base currency is USD and this customer is CAD. We have Suitebilling and ARM, revenue is spread evenly for the contract period. This is a 2 year contract, billed annually.
If you look at the schedule below, you can see that revenue was being recognized evenly for the first 10 months of the contract, and in July of this year it appears that Netsuite performed a catch up and revalued the remaining contract. It appears all items jumped about 3%. The only thing that changed on the contract is that we billed the second year's subscription in July. No change orders or adjustments to the subscription have happened.
