I changed to line item taxes so that I could use the multiple ship to address option. However there are multiple issues. * Sales orders are showing a tax rate and then after billing to a cash sale, it changes it to a different rate ? In this case it starts at around 7.5% which is close to correct and then on the cash sale it becomes 8.5% CASH SALE * The sales order appear to be calculating the total tax correctly but the line item percentages are all over the place.

As per SuiteAnswers ID: 8045 | Importing the State Sales Tax Table: "To keep your state sales tax tables up-to-date, you must reimport tax rates when tax rates change." You can update them via Setup > Accounting > Taxes > Use State Sales Tax Tables. Consult your tax agency to ascertain the dates when the changes to the tax rates take effect. Then, reimport the updated tax table at the appropriate time. You can also re-import the taxes on a monthly basis to keep your US Sales Taxes updated. Regarding the issue at hand, have you tried using generating a Sales Order via UI after the update of State Sales Tax Table? it is possible that the tax rates may have been from Shopify. When you create a sales order using a UI, the lookup of the tax code and tax rate is based on NetSuite which in turn looks up the following hierarchy: 1. The system will pull up the Tax Item under Customer Record (List > Relationship > Customer > Financial subtab > Tax Item). 2.The system will do a Shipping Address Validation. 2.A The customer has no valid shipping address, a. The system will pull up the Home Tax code of the Nexus. The home tax code of the Nexus could be assigned under the Nexus of the subsidiary or under Setup > Accounting > Setup Taxes. The state on the subsidiary record identifies the default Nexus. For example, if the state in the Subsidiary record is California, then the home tax code of the Nexus-California would looked up. b. If there are no Home Tax codes assigned, the system will pull up the Default Tax Code under the Setup > Accounting > Setup Taxes. 2.B If the customer has a valid shipping address, a. The system will consider the Tax schedule (for Advanced Taxes). b. After considering the tax schedule (whether it's taxable/not on a certain Nexus), the system will pull up the tax code of the Shipping Address. c. If there's no shipping address on the customer record, the system will pull up the Default Tax Code under Setup > Accounting > Setup Taxes. This is discussed in SuiteAnswers ID: 86008 | U.S. Tax Lookup Hierarchy The Cash Sales inherits the tax code of the sales order and looks up the tax rate. Line Item Tax Issue
