Product Configurator for NetSuite kit items
Has anyone figured out a way to make a Product Configurator for NetSuite kit items? There were threads on this but they are very old and nobody had a solution.
So, if we sold bikes and we had kit items for sprocket assemblies and handlebar assemblies and wheel assemblies... a shopper could go to a web store page with a group of pulldowns and configure their dream bike and order it. When they add to the cart, it would add the item or kit needed to get the bike they configured. This is different from a matrix item in that it is a bunch of kits that make up their custom configured product and it also doesn't necessarily need a child item for every possible combination.
