AE:FAM Mid-life Assets import

We are working on an implementation of NetSuite and with the Fixed Assets component we are encountering the following.

We want to import mid-life assets and have done so according to SuiteAnswer id 21804 and 73692.

ID 21804 describes the steps 'Updating Tax Methods through CSV Import'. But is that still necessary with the SuiteTax bundle?


In addition, we have done an import of the depreciation history.

But is that necessary with the current version of FAM? The description of the SuiteAnswer id is from 2012 and if I do not execute this import but start the menu option 'asset depreciation', the depreciation history is also created.
