AE:Simultaneous Edits of Transactions

We have had issues when a Quotation is edited by more than one person at once and neither is aware of the other edit until they come to Save their work - and the Quote crashes and loses their changes. Is there a way of alerting a User 'This Transaction is currently being edited by another User' when it is Edited? We have only had issues with Quotes but the same situation could be true of other Transactions.
