Email case capture: identify words and populate field
Hi
I was wondering if the following is possible:
There are emails received as part of case capture for support emails.
Some of these emails make reference to their sales order numbers.
Sales order numbers are always in the format of SO123354.
I want to be able to extract this sales order number and add this to a field called 'original transaction' (custom field) on the support case. The custom field would be using the type: list/record and populated with transactions.
I imagine this would need a search in Netsuite first to find the internal ID number of the sales order to populate this field
