Please enter value(s) for: Tax Code when adding item to cart

This just started happening. When we try to add an item to the cart; doesnt matter if standalone or matrix we are getting the popup error ad the Tax Code error.

Steps to Make this happen:

Go to website; DO NOT login

Go to PDP and add item to cart. When you click on the Add Item to Cart button a

popup comes up


and and then there

is an error message on the page: "Please enter value(s) for: Tax Code"


Any ideas? this just started happening and its only happens when the customer is not logged in. I tried all the different browsers and got that error for all of them.
