Sales Order Button Missing

I copied our current sales rep role for our German Subsidiary and when I use that role, the new sales order and new invoice buttons are missing. I do not see anywhere on the form where that is. They are able to key sales orders, cash sales, invoices. Does anyone know what I can check to display these? I have looked at every tab on the form.
