NSC | SuiteAnalytics Connect: Getting information on the attached files of a transaction

edited Nov 15, 2022 10:43PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 2 comments

Scenario

NetSuite allows us to upload a file to our records and transactions. We can also attach existing files from the File Cabinet to records and transactions. If you plan on using SuiteAnalytics Connect to create a report that shows your transactions together with the files attached to them, you will need to implement some customizations on your account because there is currently no table in SuiteAnalytics Connect that contains information on a record and the files attached to it.

Solution

The known workaround to this is by creating a custom field and a script.

  1. Create a custom text area field for the record
